Background
Acne is a disease of the sebaceous hair follicle. Each follicle contains a tiny hair and multilobed sebaceous glands.
Sebaceous glands get their name from the oily substance they produce – sebum. Under normal circumstances, sebum travels up the hair follicle and out to the skin's surface. However, in acne, sebum is trapped within the follicle. Acne develops on those areas of the skin where sebaceous glands are most numerous: the face, scalp, neck, chest, back, upper arms, and shoulders.
Acne usually begins when the body starts to produce androgens. Androgens cause the sebaceous gland to enlarge, and this is normal. People who develop acne have sebaceous glands that are overstimulated by androgens. Young women tend to have acne flare-ups that coincide with the hormonal changes associated with their menstrual cycle. These changes affect the sensitivity of their sebaceous glands to androgens.
After the sebaceous gland is stimulated by androgens (this involves an enzyme called type I 5-alpha reductase), it produces more sebum. The oily sebum accumulates in the follicle and travels up the hair shaft to the surface of the skin. As it travels up the hair shaft it also mixes with normal skin bacteria and dead skin cells that have been shed from the lining of the follicle.
As androgen production increases and sebaceous glands enlarge, the inner lining of the skin in the hair follicle also changes. Normally, dead cells inside the follicle shed gradually and get expelled onto the surface. However, during puberty, these cells are shed more rapidly and tend to stick together. When they mix with sebum, they can clog the follicle - the cells and sebum form a plug in the follicle.
The clogged follicle becomes a breeding ground for bacteria. Major bacteria are Staphylococcus aureus, as well as Malassazia fungi. Chemicals produced by the bacteria can cause inflammation in the follicle and the surrounding skin.
Allopathic antibiotic treatments
Existing chemical medications include oral treatments for widespread acne. These medications are antibiotics and help to reduce sebum secretions. Being powerful chemical agents, they have caused many cases of irreversible damage to the liver. Additional side effects may include mental depression and excessive dryness in various body parts. Also, their usage during pregnancy is prohibited.

LIQUID BALSAM (ZORI) Skin Disinfecting Solution – STEP 1 IN ACNE TREATMENT
General Description: A multi-purpose solution, for treating external wounds and burns.
Properties:
- Enhances blood clotting (hemostatic).
- Relieves pain.
- Mild on the skin, unlike alcohol or iodine which attack skin cells.
- Helps to prevent scars.
Suggested Ingredients: extracts in water and 10% alcohol from grapes fermentation, of Clove bud, Wormwood, Savory, and Everlasting, along with essential oils of Lavender, Everlasting, Lemon peel, and St. John's Wart.
Usage: Rinse face daily (in the evening). No further rinsing with water is necessary. For acne treatment, the basic treatment (with the ZORI Skin Disinfecting Solution) may be combined with spot treatment of wounds, using the ALMOGAN Single Pimple Treatment Oil. General balancing of the skin should be performed using the NEVE cream.
Purifying Cream for Acne Prone Skin – OASIS (NEVE) – STEP 2 IN ACNE TREATMENT
Contains powerful antiseptic and anti-inflammatory herbs, plant oils, and natural minerals. Balances and deeply cleanses the skin, and helps block the Type I 5-alpha reductase enzyme which stimulates sebum secretion. Suitable on its own for light acne, or for Rosacea on facial skin.
Active ingredients: Dead Sea water (powerfully anti-inflammatory), apple extract, olive oil, inula oil, geranium oil (regenerates the skin), chamomile extract (calms), lemongrass oil, pine oil, grapefruit oil (purifying), myrtle oil -described already in the Bible (balances sebum secretions); camphor, cinnamon, tea tree, olive leaf extract (all powerfully antiseptic); everlasting leaf extract (promotes tissue regeneration), Withania somnifera leaf extract (anti-inflammatory), magnesium (anti inflammatory).
Recommendations: Consume Detox Infusion tea to complete the treatment.
ZORI Skin Disinfecting solution may be used for cleansing skin & preventing scar, prior to application of the cream.
Single-Pimple Treatment Oil (ALMOGAN)- STEP 3 IN ACNE TREATMENT
General Description: A mixture of essential oils and plants macerated in olive oil, particularly effective against Staphylococcus aureus bacteria, which causes puss-containing wounds. This product is especially effective for spot treatment of acne, furuncles, viral warts, fungi and inflammations next to nails, and persistent skin fungi.
Properties: Stops development of bacteria and fungi.
Suggested Ingredients: A mixture of extracts in olive oil of Geranium and Myrtle, with aromatic oils from Biblical Hyssop species such as Origanum dayi, Thyme, Marjoram, and Savory; as well as essential oils of Pine; Lemon peel, Cinnamon bark, Citrus leaves, and myrtle (which was already described in the Bible, and helps to balance sebum secretions).
Usage:
Acne Treatment: Apply locally on the wound using a finger or cotton wool stick. Repeat every 2-3 hrs (but up to 3 times) until the wound disappears. The product is particularly effective when the wound starts to appear (up to 2 days). In the case of a developed wound, the product speeds-up puss drainage. The treatment should be combined with cleansing of the skin, in the evening, with the Skin Disinfecting Solution.
In the case of pimples on a large area, the usage of Anti-Inflammation Oil is preferable.
Viral Warts: Apply 4 times a day, for 1 week. In persistent cases, the usage of Nail Fungus Treatment Oil may be necessary.
Limitations: The product should contain a high concentration of aromatic oils (ca. 50%). Hence, avoid using it for children under the age of 10.
Do not apply onto large skin surfaces or on delicate organs: around the eye, armpits, or genitals. Do not apply on an open wound. Rinse hands thoroughly after use, and avoid contact with the eyes.
In case of contact with the eyes, rinse first with cotton wool soaked with edible oil, and only then with water.
Comments: The product might cause temporary reddening (up to 10 minutes) of the treated area.
